What we have been up to at SJM Properties!  

As always, it has been a busy few months here at SJM Properties, and we are excited to share some key updates and a bit about what we have been up to...

New Properties on Our Books 

We have welcomed several new landlords to our management as well as gained a block of 14 fully managed flats in Wellington with an existing landlord, this has expanded our portfolio significantly and enabled us to bring a variety of new properties to the market! From cozy one-bedroom flats to spacious family homes, we have something to suit every need and budget.

Staff Update 

As many of you will already know we greeted a new member of our team in March this year, Paris. Having worked within the industry for over 10 years, Paris brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Letting and Property Management and is a great addition to our staff!

With our employees being one of our greatest assets, we have also invested in training and development, with recent courses including advanced property management techniques and updates on the latest property laws. This ensures that our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to aid you better.

Changes to the market 

We are constantly trying to keep our landlords and tenants up to date with the latest news and its effect on our industry, namely the recent change of government. We have created several blogs to help you stay informed with all the key information. You can access these on our website or Facebook Page, please let us know if there were any topics you would like us to focus on in future.

Sustainability Effort  

Sustainability is at the heart of our operations. We have implemented green practices across our office and property management processes. From energy-efficient property upgrades to waste reduction initiatives, we are committed to making a positive environmental impact.

Sponsorship  

We are proud to continue to sponsor Sonny Baker Somerset County Cricket Club and additionally just this year Andy Umeed as well. We have been involved in several events at our local ground this year and it has been great to keep up to date with the players – great season this year everyone!

Finally... 

Looking ahead, we are continuing to grow and adapt to changing trends and regulations. We are getting more heavily involved in property upgrades and renovations and with that we are also regularly reviewing our rental prices to ensure they are fair for both landlord and tenant.
